2008 Thanks Mom Campaign has Ended

Thank you for your tremendous response!

The 2008 Thanks Mom awareness and recruitment campaign has ended. The number of new Registry members and dollars raised  during the 2008 Thanks Mom campaign will be reported here June 2008.

Special Thanks Mom funding that covered costs for adding new members to the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) Registry was available May 5 – 19, 2008.  We can no longer offer free registration.

However, your help is still needed. Thousands of patients are looking for a match.

  • Join the NMDP Registry. You could be the one to save a life.
  • Give a financial gift. It costs $52 to add a donor to the NMDP Registry. Your tax-deductible gift in any amount extends funding so more donors can join.
  • Tell your friends and family about the opportunity to save lives:
  • Grow the donor garden, a community passionate about saving lives.


Every person deserves the best chance for treatment

The NMDP is dedicated to providing hope and delivering a cure to people who need a life-saving marrow transplant. 

Every donor added, every friend contacted and every dollar raised helps save lives.
