An Introduction to Marrow and Cord Blood Transplant – March 12, 2008; June 11, 2008; September 10, 2008; December 3, 2008: This free telephone education workshop will educate patients about the basics of transplant, HLA matching, how a doctor searches for a donor, caregiver and survivor experiences, and resources available to the patient and family.

Living Now: Legal Questions About Returning to Work (PDF) -- A free telephone education workshop for Transplant Survivors. This workshop educated transplant survivors about the legal protections related to returning to work after transplant, job interviewing after illness, COBRA, HIPAA and Disability benefits overview, and resources available to transplant survivors.

Transplants for Leukemia and Lymphoma -- Saturday, March 15, 2008: Patients and caregivers seeking information on bone marrow, stem cell and umbilical cord transplants for treatment of leukemia, lymphoma and other blood cancers are invited to the 4th Annual Bone Marrow, Stem Cell, Cord Blood Transplant Conference. Dr. Jeffrey Chell, chief executive officer of the National Marrow Donor Program will speak.

    Marrow and Cord Blood Transplant as a Treatment Option -- Wednesday, January 16, 2008: This free telephone education program will provide an overview of transplantation, general guidelines for transplantation, information on searching for a donor and a question and answer session with the speakers.

    Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Transplants: Effects on Long-Term Health – April 26, 2007: This free telephone education program will address potential late effects of transplantation, preventative health information and benefits of follow-up care and enrollment in a late-effects clinic.  Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions during the program.
